I was lucky enough to have a grandmother who gave me the love and joy of home cooking. Apple pies, roasts and afternoon charcuterie boards, with food plucked straight from her gigantic garden. The creativity and artistry she brought to the kitchen captured me and planted the seeds of a dream that would one day become a food blog.
I believe, feeding someone with your own creations is the greatest love language there is. There is nothing more enjoyable than spending an afternoon getting deeply creative with whatever is in season and making a piece of art you can share with the people you love.
I am obsessed with the seasons as a way to stay grounded and stay connected to the earth. Everything I make starts with what is actually in season, and then I turn it into something gorgeous. Seasonal, high protein, and beautiful enough that you want to look at it before you eat it.
